Basics of Yoga Philosophy

In this course, Linda and students will discuss the ideas presented in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and The Bhagavad Gita, both ancient Hindu texts that have had a large influence on the study of yoga. We will discuss the ideas at the root of yogic practice, their relevance and purpose, and how these texts relate to us today. Linda will present an aspect of the Sutras or the Bhagavad Gita and will lead a discussion in order to provoke thinking and to clarify meaning.

Learn how to organize yourself to do a well rounded yoga practice at home that supports what you have been learning in classes and helps you to integrate those lessons into your life.
